01 — Overview
Zuppy is an AI nutrition tracker I founded and built end to end. Point your camera at any meal — home-cooked or a restaurant plate — and get calories, protein, carbs and fat in seconds, with no manual logging and no scrolling through food databases.
It runs on Expo, React Native and TypeScript over a Supabase backend of 38+ edge functions handling AI meal scanning, personalized seven-day meal plans and gamification. Food recognition and macro breakdown are powered by the OpenAI vision API.
Shipped solo to the App Store under my own developer account — from first commit to launch.
